Bio

I grew up in Vassar, MI and I'm currently researching my family history. All of the Roths in the Vassar/Mayville/Tuscola region of Michigan appear to be related, beginning with Adam and Caroline Roth (Dupper), who moved to the Mayville/Fremont area some time after 1868. They previously lived in Clarence, New York with Adam's parents Johann Friederich Roth & Susanna Catherina Kaufmann (her headstone in Clarence, New York reads Katherina Roth, Ehefrau von / wife of J.H. Roth). Adam Roth and his family (and parents) emigrated to the U.S. with their children from Haberschlacht Germany in 1857. Most of the Roths from this line are buried in Vassar Riverside cemetery or Fremont cemetery near Mayville.

I'm also interested in the history of my childhood home, which was previously owned by J.K. Osgerby and wife Reine from 1914-1948, although it appears they didn't live there continuously. Any information and photos would be much appreciated!
