Creating little memories throughout life.

I do not create memorials as to see how many I can get. Truly my main thought is so that you may find your loved ones and that they are not forgotten or lost. I started my journey when I could not find a great aunt, a beautiful soul and a true role model to me growing up. I searched a whole day for her at several cemeteries and was never able to find her. I felt devasted that she had been lost, no one in the family could tell me exactly where she was buried just up in the hills. Then my journey continued on when I lost my own daughter and somo sweet soul put her on here. I was truly blessed that someone who didn't know her put a memorial up so she wouldn't be lost or forgotten and the world would always know she was here. I try to be a thorough when putting information so that you may be able to find your love one. I look at the memorial as a way of their legacy living on.

Found this while looking around.... Rockford Journal; Rockford, Illinois; Saturday, March 2, 1872; p. 2.

LITTLE BELL
Closed are the laughing eyes,
Beneath their curtains fair,
And round a marble brow,
Soft lies the silken hair.

Stilled are the little hands,
That clasp our own no more,
And still two little feet,
That played around our door.

A little voice is hushed,
That we had learned to love,
And now its music sweet,
The angels hear above.

When first the baby come,
We asked for her God's care,
And He hath sent His love,
An answer to our prayer.

Our Father took her home,
Up to His mansion fair;
We surely could not ask,
More tender, loving care.

And yet we loved her so,
'Twas hard to have her go
To seek a fairer land,
And leave us still below.

We know she'll not return,
But in that fairer home,
The little girl we love,
Will wait for us to come.
