Bio
My journey began when I found a photo album and a note book on a stall in the late 80s. That started my quest to piece together the lives from the details therein. Thankfully, with the advent of the internet over the last two decades, I now have a family history and have virtually joined generations of that family together.
From there I have ventured forth into chronicling as much as I can about the births, deaths, and lives in between, of others, known and unknown, and linking up families across generations.
I regularly check on all the memorials I manage (how in earth do those with 5 or 6 figure numbers of memorials manage?) and update if new information is at hand.
Wherever possible I try and give a little bit of background on the person - otherwise it's not a 'memorial' is it, just a database entry - although of course it is sometimes not possible however hard one might try, to find out a great deal, if anything at all.
Whilst I welcome suggestions to augment a memorial, please think before sending. Asking, for instance, for 'Revd.' to be written as 'Reverend', or similar pedantic terms will not be addressed. Neither do I go into detail on offspring and their spouses etc on a memorial, so please do not ask. Those should be chronicled on their own memorial.
