Final resting site of Ransom Phelps. Born 13 Jan 1822 in New York and Died 2 Mar 1865.My Great Great Grandfather. He died during the Civil War. He was a voluntary Union Soldier. When he died he left behind a pregnant wife (Jane Birch Phelps) and six small children.
