Singer. He was the lead singer of the rock band Firehouse. In 1986, he first recorded with the band Maxx Warrior on their only self-titled album. He then helped form the band Firehouse and co-wrote most of their music. Their first record, "FireHouse," was released in 1990 and was certified double platinum and featured their most known song " "Love of a Lifetime." Their song "Don't Walk Away" was used in the 2008 film "The Wrestler." The song "Overnight Sensation" was on the "Brütal Legend" 2009 video game soundtrack. The song "Don't Treat Me Bad" was on the 2021 TV series "Peacemaker." At the American Music Awards in 1992, they won the award for "Favorite New Heavy Metal/Hard Rock Artist." In 1992, the album "Hold Your Fire" was released, and in 1995, "3." Their next albums were "Good Acoustics" in 1996, "Category 5" in 1998, "Bring 'Em Out Live" in 1999, "O2" in 2000, "Prime Time" in 2003, and the compellation albums "The Best of FireHouse" in 1998 and "Full Circle" in 2011. From 2010 to 2014, he recorded some singles for various projects while also recording with the band Rubicon Cross. He continued working in studio production with other artists and appeared sometimes with the band "Scrap Metal." He was the son of Buck and Barbara Snare and the father of three children. In September 2020, he was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. He died of cardiac arrest in 2024.
