To reach it requires a short ¼ mile hike up the access road for "Authorized Vehicles Only," also know as Brand Park Dr. on some maps, though not marked as such along the road. Elevation gain is about 200 feet, and it's uphill all the way. A leisurely return trip downhill takes about 15 minutes, the uphill walk is dependent on individual physical condition. Make sure to be well hydrated and take some water if you go on a hot day.
From the library parking lot, walk past the restored Doctor's House along the access road. There is another private residence on the left. Follow the access road, past a reservoir/debris basin on the right, until it comes to a 3 way fork. There should be a sign pointing the way to the cemetery at the bottom of the steps to what's left of a house foundation. Follow the sign, and take the left fork in the road about 100 yards as it curves even more to the left and eventually crosses the creek and becomes a hiking trail (don't cross the creek). Look up and to the right where you will see a green wrought iron fence and a series of stone steps coming down to the road. Depending on exactly where you're standing, you may or may not be able to see the pyramid. Walk up the stone steps to the padlocked gate and you can see the whole cemetery and pyramid. There is a path of sorts around the outside of the fence, but it falls off precipitously in several places, so is definitely not recommended.
