A native of Sopchoppy, Fl he had lived in Tallahassee since 1961. He had been in the USAF for 10 years and then worked as a US Postal clerk, retiring in 1989. He had exceptional talent in woodworking and was a do-it-yourself-er. He leaves behind his wife of 57 years Clehia Jean Revell, his son Newton Lance Revell, and daughter Cynthia J. Harris(husband Richard),sisters Mary Gladys Chambers, and Margaret Cato Long and brother Pervis L Revell.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lamar and Maggie Revell.
