Pervis Lamar Revell, also known as PL, Daddy, and Pa, passed away on September 4, 2015, at his home with his family by his side, after battling years of heart issues. He graduated from Sopchoppy High School and moved to Panama City, FL. There he worked as a meat cutter until joining the United States Navy. He served four years on the Destroyer USS Royal.

After getting out of the Navy, he moved to Quincy, FL, where he met his wife of 53 years, Marilyn Johnson Revell. He continued working as a meat cutter and then market manager until health issues forced him to retire in 1996. He then went back to work for Avis in 2002, driving cars part-time. He worked with Avis until 2013.

He loved fishing, working in his garden. But most of all he enjoyed time with his family. He was the best husband, father and grandpa that you could ask for.

He is survived by:
his wife
a daughter of Leesburg, GA
a granddaughter of Oceanside, CA
a grandson of San Diego, CA
two sisters and their husbands of Tallahassee, FL and Havana, FL
four sisters-in-law of Crawfordville, FL, Bristol, FL, & Tallahassee, FL
two brothers-in-law 0f Wytheville, VA & Quincy, FL
numerous nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by:
his parents, Maggie Elizabeth and Robert Lamar Revell

Funeral Services were held on September 8, 2015 at Church of Christ on Washington Street in Quincy, FL.
