Kenneth Ray Brown, 72, of Bunker Hill, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at his home.

He was born Dec. 21, 1940, in Holmes County to the late Elmer J. and Bertha M. (Trachsel) Brown and married A. Arlene Blackwell on March 10, 1961. She died Aug. 12, 2010.

He retired from the former GRH forestry products and was a member of Millersburg Church of Christ. He was an avid hunter and outdoor enthusiast, enjoyed working in his garden and going camping.

Surviving are children, Barbara Patterson of Dallas, Texas, Kenneth "Bill" (Rebecca) Brown of Millersburg and Brenda (Doug) Hostettler of Glenmont; grandchildren, Breanna (Andrew) Raber, Jordan Brown, Logan Brown, Melody (Patrick) Reed, Miranda Hostettler and Michelle Hostettler; a great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Reed; and brothers, Walter Brown of Millersburg, John Henry Brown of Wooster, Elmer Brown Jr. of Millersburg and Dale Brown of Massillon.

Services will be Sunday, May 5, at 2 p.m. at Millersburg Church of Christ, with minister Doug Wells officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Creek Mennonite Church Cemetery.
