Mr Cordell of 1140 N 94th Street was a welder and car repairman 38 years for the Northern Pacific Railway. He retired in 1957.
Born in Nanaimo, BC, Mr Cordell came here at the turn of the century. He was a member of Local 133, Brotherhood of Railroad Carmen of America. His wife, Agnes, died in 1956.
Survivors are a son, Fred J Cordell and a daughter, Mrs Shirley Bolsey, Seattle, and two sisters in California.
