Jane Rodgers Sousa was born in Akron, Ohio. She was the daughter of James Rodgers and Elsie Huddleston.
Jane worked at the legendary Cliftons restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles known for the beautiful forest canopy theme throughout the restaurant back in the golden age and the saying " pay what you wish."
Jane also would talk about riding the famous angels
flight in Downtown Los Angeles.
She often drove classic cars such as the Corvair.
Jane was a big fan of old Hollywood and adored Marilyn Monroe. She loved the movie Sunset Blvd. Amongst a wide variety of movie genres including sci-fi mystery and loved reading
Mrs. Sousa loved traveling , visiting family and friends , and playing cards with her girlfriends.
Jane would also spend time volunteering at the hospice center up in the hi- desert.
Mrs. Sousa was a 69-year resident of California and a 29-year resident of Joshua Tree.
Jane passed away due to a stroke at her family's home in Orange County Ca. March 6, 2013. She was 83 years old.
