Nippa resident, Linzie W. Castle, 73, died Saturday, Nov 7, in Paintsville Herald. Born Feb 12, 1908, in Johnson County, he was the son of Jakey and Janie Sadler Castle, and was a retired miner. Surviving are his wife, Edna Mae Issac Castle; seven sons, Jakie Lewis, Thomas Marion, and Charles Leon Castle of Nippa, Linzie, Jr., Volga, James Ernest Castle of Stambaugh, Willie Ray Castle of Sitka, and Walter Lee Castle of Thealka; nine daughters, LouVerna Burchett and Louise Burchett of Stambaugh, Okie Jane Igner of Hillsboro, OH, Fay Frizey of OK, May Daniels of Lowmansville, Joyce lee Stambaugh and Marylin Joyce Stambaugh of Sitka, Pearliene Blanton and Pauliene Caldwell, of Nippa; three brothers, James and Bill Castle, Nippa and Jakey Castle, Jr., Springfield, OH. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov 10, in Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel with James Kelly Caudill officiating.
