In 1950, she married William Hauff. He preceded her in death. On June 20, 1976, she married Homer Davis Jr.
Survivors are: loving husband; daughter, Kelly Hauff of Kearney; son, Michael Hauff and his wife, Sally, of Kearney; grandchildren, Heather Walters and her husband, Matthew, of Michigan, Adriane Juel and her significant other, Eric Johnson, of Minden and Nathan Juel, Brandon Hauff and his wife, Jackie, and Lindsay Abegglen and her husband, Jordan, all of Kearney; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Audrey Walters of Michigan; sisters, Elinor Wendelin of Crete and Ardith Kalberg and her husband, DeWayne, of Overland Park, Kan.; and brothers, Gerald Gillaspie and his wife, Pat, of Aurora and Richard Gillaspie and his wife, Karen, of Lincoln.
Marianne received her education in Springview and Hastings.
Marianne loved reading, her cat Rascal and all birds. She and Homer were avid RV'ers and traveled through much of the United States. She is lovingly remembered for her love of God and family and for her infamous cooking and sewing abilities.
Marianne was preceded in death by: parents; an infant brother; sisters, Helen McNamee and Jeannie Paiva; brothers, Bill, Jim and Norman Gillaspie; and nephews, Michael Wendelin, Scott Paiva and Mark Chambers.
Interment was in the Elm Creek Cemetery, Elma Creek, Nebraska.
