Her father, Henry, crossed the plains on the Mormon wagon train at age 10. Her mother was a daughter of the McCauslin family that crossed the plains.
The family moved to Salt Lake around 1895. They lived right next door to the Henrich Reiser family who had a son named Arnold.
She married Uncle Arnold (Reiser) on Sept. 3, 1902 at the age of 18 in the Salt Lake Temple. They had two sons, Lowell (1904-1957) & Allen (1912-1991) They were married for 53 happy years.
My memories of her are when I was a teenager. When I visited her in Salt Lake she had an older Victorian style home filled with "delicious" antiques! Lots of lovely china and dolls. She also had the first color TV set I'd ever seen.
She was always very nice and lots of fun.
She was 78 when she passed away. They were good, kind, salt of the earth people.
