WEAVER - Graveside services for Willie "Bill" Mason Mitchell, 86, of Weaver will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at Brown & Kughn Memory Chapel in Anniston.
Mr. Mitchell died Tuesday in Anniston.
Survivors include his wife, Roma Craft Mitchell; a son, Ronald Wayne Mitchell and his wife Paula Watkins, of Weaver; and his caregivers, Tom and Imogene Watkins.
Mr. Mitchell, a Randolph County native, had lived in Calhoun County since 1943. He was a member of the Mason Lodge #700, The Civilian Conservation Court and a founding member of Alabenton Genealogical Society. He was preceded in death by a son, Craft Willie Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alabama Room at the Anniston-Calhoun County Public Library, 108 East 10th Street, Anniston, AL 36201.
