Albert G. and Martha came to Wyoming from Omaha, Nebraska in about 1910. He took a homestead across what is now Highway 14 from the present Leiter store and Post Office.
Their son Ira, wife Rose and three sons, Frank, Earl, and Ralph had come from Omaha, Nebraska in 1907. They lived on the homestead until the summer of 1927 when they moved to a small house near the Ira Jacobs home.
Albert passed away at his home in Leiter on August 15, 1929. Martha remained in Wyoming until 1934, when she returned to Omaha to make her home with her daughter where she passed away July 2, 1940.
Three generation – Albert and Martha, Ira and Rose, Frank and Vesta – celebrated 50th Wedding Anniversaries in the Leiter community.
