Charlotte Jacobs
Miss Charlotte Jacobs was born in Green County, Pa., Jan. 31, 1852. She died at Elk City, Kan., Oct. 26, 1910, aged 58 years, 8 months and 25 days.
She came with her parents to Lincoln, Kan., in 1886, and lived here until September 1909, when she went to Elk City, and remained until her death. Mr. and Mrs. Johanson of Elk City received her in their home as a sister cared for her until her death and brought her to the old home in Lincoln for funeral and burial.
When 16 years of age Miss Jacobs united with the Church of Christ in Pennsylvania and was a member of the Lincoln church during her residence here. She died in hope of eternal life.
Funeral services were conducted by O.H. Truman of the Church of Christ, in the First Christian church of Lincoln, Saturday morning, Oct. 29.
