MILLERSBURG -- Oma Troyer, 83, a resident at Greenfield at Millersburg, formerly of Dundee, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008, at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg.

She was born Sept. 22, 1924, in Trail to Lloyd and Minerva (Miller) Troyer.

Oma was one of the original stockholders of Troyer's Trail Bologna and operated the company retail store for 50 years.

She bowled for many years through the Dover-New Philadelphia Bowling Association and enjoyed following the Cleveland Indians, the Cavaliers and the Hiland Hawks.

She was a member of Zion Reformed Church in Winesburg.

Surviving are a brother, Robert G. (Madeline) Troyer of Sugarcreek; and will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews and friends at Greenfield at Millersburg and the resident cat, "Tommy."

Brothers, Virgil, Merlin, Sterling, Richard; an infant brother, Kevin Allen; and a sister, Maxine, died previously.

Services will be Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 11 a.m. at Zion Reformed Church in Winesburg with the Rev. Jason Strong officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery in Winesburg.
