Robert Troyer, 83, Sugarcreek

Sugarcreek -- Robert G. Troyer, 83, of Sugarcreek, formerly of Trail, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at Union Hospital in Dover.

He was born June 17, 1932, in Trail to the late Lloyd and Minerva (Miller) Troyer, and married Madeline Dennison on July 26, 1958. She survives.

He was a former co-owner of Troyer Trail Bologna and retired from Troyer Livestock Hauling.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are sons, Tony Troyer and Keith (Nancy) Troyer, both of Sugarcreek; grandchildren, Matthew and Shane Troyer, Clint Troyer, Emily Beckley and Samuel Troyer; six great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Troyer; a brother, Virgil, Merlin, Sterling and Richard Troyer; and sisters, Oma Troyer and Maxine Sensel.

Graveside services will be Thursday, Nov. 5 at 1 p.m. in Westlawn Cemetery in Winesburg.
