An abstracted obituary from the "Copper City Advance" says that Mary died in a Canton Convalescent Home and services were held from Friendship Baptist Church of Murphy, where she was interred. It says she was the wife of the late Andy Henson and that five daughters survived: Mrs. Joseph Hinton of Murphy, Mrs. Andrew Killian of Blue Ridge, Mrs. John Gray of Ballgrade, Florida, Mrs. Nat Craig of Culberson, North Carolina, and Mrs. Frank Craig of Ducktown. Four sons, John of Murphy, Edgar, Jim and Will of Florida; one sister, Mrs. Rich Picklesimer.

The obituary does not name Mary's parents, but Richard 'Rich' B. Picklesimer was married to Mary's sister, Lula May, daughter of Joseph May and Harriett Sophronia Miller, and some of their other children were James, William and John.

When Andrew died back in 1949 it only said he was the son of John S. Henson, and was survived by a wife, no name (but Lille Henson was the informant) and 5 daughters and 4 sons, same as Mary, but none were named. According to the 1910 Polk County, TN census the children were Lillie, Minnie, Estie, James, Willie, Relsie, Hattie, Johnnie and Harley. It said he was interred in Bethlehem, and Andrew is on lists as being there in an unmarked grave.
