RUBY MCCLOUD PATRICK COLLEY
Ruby McCloud Patrick Colley,
80, of Richlands passed away
Sunday, Nov. 15, at her home
following a long illness.
A lifelong resident of Rich-
lands, she was the daughter of
the late Thomas and Edna Harless
McCloud. She was a member of
the Chapel of Love Church, a
member of the Clinch Valley
Medical Center Auxiliary and a
member of the Casey-Shortt VFW
Post No. 9640 Ladies Auxiliary.
She was a member of the Rich-
lands Order of the Eastern Star
No. 104. In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in
death by her first husband,
Arland Patrick; second husband,
Waldon Colley; daughter, Thelma
Jean Patrick Vencill; two
brothers and five sisters.
Survivors: daughter, Mrs.
Richard (Carolyn) Nelson of
Richlands; son, John Thomas
Patrick of Bangor, Maine;
brothers, tom McCloud of Kings-
port, Tenn. and Bob McCloud of
Tallahassee, Fla; grandchildren,
Tina Nelson Null, Richie Nelson,
Lisa Royal, April Lemmo, Arland
Thomas Patrick and Charles
(Chuckie) Vencill; seven great-
grandchildren and three special
friends, Charlotte, Billie and
Carol.
Funeral services were conduct-
ed Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the
Singleton Funeral Service Chapel
in Cedar Bluff with the Rev.
Roger Lester and the Rev. Jo
Russ officiating. Burial follow-
ed in the Hankins Cemetery in
Richlands. Pallbearer were
Rodney Nelson, Chester Whited,
Danny McCloud, Richie Nelson,
Larry Null and Allen Johnson,
Jr. Honorary pallbearers were
Calvin (Cab) Dunford, Joe Horton,
and Men of the Chapel of Love
Church.
Singleton Funeral Service in
Cedar Bluff is in charge of
arrangements.
