Ruth R. Benson, 98, Tonganoxie, KS passed away Tues, Dec 24, 2013 at her home. She was born September 9, 1916 the daughter of the late Edward and Lillian (Lanham) Roberts. She was united in marriage to Aubrey L. Robbins who preceded her in death. Survivors include one daughter Martha Brooks and her husband Truman of Tonganoxie, KS; four grandchildren Tracy Welborn, Michael Brooks, Barbara Burris and Steven Robbins; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Benson worked at AVON in Kansa City, MO for 35 years. She was active in the American Legion and was a member of the Church of Christ in Basehor, KS. Graveside services were 2:00 pm Sat.
