Mrs. Elizabeth Turner Osborne died July 24 at Edgewater, Colorado,
at the age of 94.
She was the widow of Dr. David Osborne, who practiced at White
House and Harold and was widely known throughout this section.
Mrs. Osborne was the last of the family of Morgan and Elaine
Spencer Turner. She was a member of the Regular Baptist Church for
seventy-four years. Her nearest surviving relative is a
granddaughter, Mrs. Roger Slattery.
The body was returned to Floyd County Monday and funeral rites were
conducted Tuesday, July 30, from the Old Beaver Creek Church at
Drift, the Revs. Mack McCloud, Jennell Moore and Luther Conn
officiating.
Burial was made in the family mausoleum at White House.
