Cleo L. Aldeman Kinsinger, 93, longtime resident of Coralville, died Thursday, January 23, 2014, at Mercy Hospital under the compassionate care of the Hospice Unit.

Memorial services will be held at 2pm Saturday, January 25, 2014, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City, followed by a time of refreshments and fellowship. Burial will take place at a later date at Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her memory to Iowa City Hospice. Cleobelle Lillian Hedges was born July 9, 1920, the daughter of Zaye and Harvey Hedges. In the spring of 1935 she was united in marriage to Caleb W. Aldeman. Four sons were born to this union. After Caleb's death in 1943, she married Ray R. Kinsinger. The couple enjoyed traveling, camping and playing cards. For over 36 years Cleo worked for the University of Iowa.

Her family includes her oldest son, Caleb Aldeman and his wife, Shirley of Iowa City; her youngest son, Larry "Red" Aldeman of Cedar Rapids; her very special grandson who she raised, William "Brian", her brother, Bill Hedges of Colona, IL; sister, Donna Jean Bogs of Iowa City; and numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Caleb W. Aldeman and Ray Kinsinger; and her two sons, Bill and Ron Aldeman.
