Dorothy Beachy, 90, of Fresno died Saturday March 29, 2014 at Autumn Healthcare of Coshocton.

She was born March 27, 1924 in Holmes County to the late Nathan and Masa (Hershberger) Schrock.

She had formerly worked at Schlabach Store in Walnut Creek and had worked with her husband Ben for many years in operating the Farmerstown Store. She was a member of the Walnut Creek Mennonite Church.

She was married March 3, 1950 to Benjamin V. Beachy who died June 17, 2012.

She is survived by her children Bruce A. (Jeri) Beachy, of Suwanee, Ga., Max E. (Pauline) Beachy, of Baltic, and Denise (John) Lillibridge, of Fresno; 10 grandchildren Katy Beachy, of Sunbury, Dorrie and Cindy Beachy, both of Georgia, Kevin (Lindsey) Beachy, of Millersburg, Brent and Sara Beachy, both of Baltic, Dustin Rusnak, of Fresno, Maggie (Evan) Kent, of Oak Harbor, Wash., Rebekah and Abagail Lillibridge, both of Fresno; four step-grandchildren, Philip, Jeremiah and Timothy Lillibridge, all of Fresno, and Elaina (Anthony) Love, of West Lafayette; two great-granddaughters, Callie Beth Beachy and Emma Hope Beachy; her sister Esther Gerber, of Walnut Creek, and brother Robert Schrock, of Dover.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her son-in-law David Rusnak, Sr., grandson David Rusnak, Jr., five brothers, Ferman, Nelson, Paul, Nolan and Howard and four sisters, Kathryn, Mary, Betty and Anna Jean.

Services will be held on Wed., April 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Walnut Creek Mennonite Church with Pastor Don Hamsher officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Friends may call on Tuesday 5-8 p.m. at the Walnut Creek Mennonite Church. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.
