Jack Roberson, age 81, of Murphy, NC passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Union General Hospital in Blairsville, GA.


Jack was a native and lifelong resident of Murphy and was a son of the late H.M. and Lottie Thompson Roberson. He was a US Army veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. Jack was a member of Moccasin Creek Baptist Church. He was owner and operator of Roberson Radio & TV Service.


In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Mae Henson Roberson and two brothers, Alexander Roberson and Clyde Landon Roberson.


He is survived by his sisters, Bonita Roberts and husband Ray of Murphy and Arlene Gaddis and husband John of Marietta, GA; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.


Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 2 PM at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel Murphy. Rev. Ronnie Palmer will officiate. Burial will follow at Bellview Community Cemetery.
