Marie Servies, of Tipton, IN died unexpectedly on January 4, 2015 at the age of 62.

Marie is survived by her father, Darwin Cyphers; her husband, Skip Servies; her children, Scott Servies (Anna) and Jennifer Richey (Jacob); her brother Rick Cyphers (Diane), her grandchildren Evan, Drew, Amelia, Avery and Grant Servies, Connor and Hank Richey; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Joan Cyphers (Massey).

Marie was born in Colorado Springs, CO at Camp Carson Army Base on February 29, 1952 to Darwin and Joan Cyphers. She was baptized on April 17, 1969. Marie graduated from Windfall High School in 1970. After graduating from Indiana Business College in 1971 she worked for Steel Parts Corporation in the office for five years. She then spent the rest of her life raising her children and taking care for her grandchildren.

On June 10, 1972 she married Skip at the Windfall Christian Church. They spent 42 wonderful years together.

Marie loved her children and grandchildren dearly. Marie always took care of others, even in her death, as she was an organ donor. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, attending their sporting events and activities, bargain shopping, planting flowers and gardening. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.

A service celebrating Marie's life will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Windfall Christian Church in Windfall. Reverend Carl Roudebush and Pastor Kevin Carr will officiate. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery in Windfall. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Porter Funeral Home.
