Dennis Wikstrom , 58, Thief River Falls, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 1992, in Northwest Medical Center, Thief River Falls.

Dennis Wikstrom was born July 23, 1934, in rural Strandquist, Minn., the son of Arvid and Hattie Wikstrom . He attended school in Strandquist and Holt, Minn. He entered the U.S. Army in 1955 and was a combat engineer. After his discharge in 1963, he was a truck driver for Sears, Roebuck Co. in Salina, Kan. He moved to Seattle, where he worked for Boeing Aerospace. He married Ann Wolf Feb. 20 1970, in Seattle. They lived in Seattle until moving to Thief River Falls in 1971, where he worked for Areteo and later for Glass Sales Co. He retired in 1989 because of ill health.

Survivors are his wife; daughters, Tammy (Mrs. Donald) Roberts, Seattle, and Cindy (Mrs Ronald) Hodge, Warroad, Minn. sons, Ward and Jeffery, both of Summer, Wash; five grandchildren, mother, sisters, Myrtle (Mrs. George) Jassen, Glenwood, Minn., Helaine (Mrs. Carl) Hanson, Roseau, Minn., and Beulah Wikstrom, Holt; and a twin brother, Dallas, Thief River Falls.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Avid, a nephew and a niece.

Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday in Green Funeral Chapel, Thief River Falls.
Visitation: 1 to 7 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Burial: Wikstrom family cemetery rural Stranquist.
