Mrs. Bertha Sprinkle of 2003 Wellington died Friday at 1:05 a.m. in a Dallas hospital. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. David Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.

She was born Jan. 11, 1906 in Hunt County, the daughter of W.T. O’Hara and Mary E. Ramsey O’Hara. Mrs. Sprinkle was employed at Patterson Cleaners and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving are her husband, Bill Sprinkle of Greenville; sons, Jack and Don Sprinkle both of Greenville, Reggie Sprinkle of Garland and Avon Chandler of Greenville; daughter, Mrs. Mary Dearing of Greenville; brother, H.D. O’Hara of Fort Worth; sisters, Mrs. W.E. Howell and Mrs. M.L. Swafford, Jr. both of Quinlan, Mrs. L.L. McKay of Greenville, Mrs. Basil Jones of Mesquite, Mrs. Charles W. Gillespie of Vandalia, Ohio, Mrs. Jack Rockwell of Bedford and Mrs. Jim Darnell of Roanoke; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother in 1949 and her father in 1978.

Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will be at the home of Mrs. Mary Dearing at 3301 Bonnie Lea.
