Jack Sprinkle, 91, of Greenville, passed away on Dec. 22, 2015, at Legend Healthcare.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Mr. Randy Daw and Mr. Frank Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Jack was born to Bill and Bertha O’Hara Sprinkle on July 11, 1924, in Hunt County. He married Maxine Stafford on Feb. 12, 1999, in Greenville.

Jack was a proud veteran serving with the U. S. Army in World War II. He worked as a mechanic at Ward Bus and Body Shop for 30 years and was a member of Johnson Street Church of Christ.

Jack is survived by his wife, Maxine Sprinkle of Greenville; stepdaughters, Pam Cathey of Grapevine, Reba McDermand of Valley View; stepson, Rodney Cathey; brother-in-law, Neel Dearing, Jr. of Greenville; stepbrother, Avon Chandler of Greenville; grandchildren, Jinger Surells, Justin Sprinkle; 14 stepgrandchildren; and great-grandchild, Chacey.

He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Jean Sprinkle; son, Billy Don Sprinkle; brother, Don Sprinkle; and sister, Alice Dearing.
