Mr. Thompson died Jan 22 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Mr. Thompson was born Aug 18, 1909, in Wayne County, WV, a son of the late John and Eva Watts Thompson. He was a retired Norfolk and Western Railroad employee, a World War II veteran and a member of Vinson Masonic Lodge 66 at Fort Gay. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Faye Reynolds Thompson; 3 sons, John Allen Thompson of Wooster, OH, Edmond Thompson, Jr. of Killbuck, OH and David Wesley Thompson of Fort Gay; 4 sisters, Mrs. Wilma Hilton of Lothian, MD, Mrs. Geraldine Medley of Rittman, OH, Mrs. Florine Ferguson of Fort Gay and Mrs. Mamie Workman of Ceredo, WV; 3 brothers, Don Thompson and Birch Thompson both of Fort Gay and Ralph Thompson of Genoa, WV and 4 grandchildren.
