Mrs. M. J. ( Belva) Steckbeck, 64, of 1116 N. Liberty St., died at 9:10 a.m. Sunday at the Morris Hospital. Born June 7, 1905, in Mechanicsburg, Pa., she was a daughter of George and Mayme (Berkheimer) Kenkenbinber (sic). She was educated in Mechanicsburg’s schools. She was married in April of 1930(1), to M. J. Steckbeck. She was a member of the First United Church of Morris, member of Women of the Moose and a member of Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Bonnie) Hecht, of Morris, Mrs. Annabelle Karnes, Lebanon, Pa.; two sons, Robert of Mechanicsburg. Pa., George of Lebanon, Pa.; 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; one sister Mrs. Gene (Mary Jane) Neibert of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; one brother, Hurbert Kenkenbinber. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one daughter. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. Harry Naden officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Davis Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Morris Hospital.
