Robert "Bobby" Boggs, age 74, of East Point passed away Monday, November 19, 2012, at Highland Regional Medical Center at Paintsville.
Born November 17, 1938, in Harlan County, to the late Floyd and Nancy Baker Boggs.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Whitaker Boggs of East Point, one son, Robert Keith Boggs of Lexington,one daughter, Leigh Ann Boggs Russell of East Point, five sisters, Ora Cornette of Paintsville, Gerry Brown of London, KY., Kathern Turner of Bledsoe, KY., Virginia Fee of Cincinnati, OH., Patricia Baker of Big Laurel, KY., and six grandchildren, Cory, Alli, Joe, Zach, Madi and John.
Funeral services will be at 11a.m. Thursday, November 22, 2012, in the chapel of the Phelps and Son Funeral Home, Burial will follow in the Whitaker Family Cemetery at East Point. Bobby Joe Spencer will officiate.
Friends may visit from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the the funeral home.
