George H. Carr, age 91, passed away on November 28, 2015, in Springfield, MO, after a brief illness. He was born in Fort Worth, TX and lived in Springfield for over 35 years.
He was a WWII U.S. Marine veteran and a member of East Grand Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma; 3 step children, Dennis Matney, Randall Matney and Bruce Matney; four grandchildren, Nicole Kisling, Aric Matney, Matthew Matney and Molly Matney; and one great grandson, Derek Kisling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers.
Graveside service in Jamesville Cemetery, south of Nixa.
