Willis Slone, 76, of Falmouth, died Monday at his home.
He was a mechanic with Johnson Coal Co. and an Army veteran of the Korean War. A daughter, Gwendolyn Slone, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Slone; a son, Ronnie Slone of Deane; daughters, Kathryn Brashear of Butler and Evelyn Owsley of Falmouth; brothers, Gurnis Slone of Carlisle, Delmar Slone, Marion Slone Jr., William Gene Slone and Phillip Wayne Slone, all of Mallie; sisters, Hattie Slone of Garrett, Mabel Slone Bowling of Carrie, Phyllis Slone of Louisville, Betty Slone of Smith Branch, Geneva Slone and Tinalynn Slone, both of Sassafras; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Peoples Funeral Home, Butler. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth.
