Born Edna Mae Fisher on October 14, 1912 in Sardina, New York. Her father, William Fisher, mother, Leola Steves and brother, Harold Fisher preceded her in death. She is survived by a brother, Donald Fisher. She was active in high school sports and following her graduation from Williamsville High School, she attended Nurses Training at Millard Filmore Hospital in Buffalo, New York.
Edna and Raymond D. Troyer were married August 1, 1934. She is survived by her husband, Raymond and their three children, and seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Besides homemaking, Edna's activities included being the nurse at Christian Summer Camps, white water rafting and horseback riding. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, hooking rugs and sewing. Edna passed away July 19, 1991 at the age of 78 after being married to Raymond for almost 57 years.
