Alfred was a son of John and Abigail Sears Kent. He first married Sabrina Standish. After her death, he married Olive Johnson. Alfred raised sheep and lived in Vincent (Muttonsville), Town of Bristol, NY. Today (2006), there is a 'Kent Drive" off Rt. 64 near Vincent Hill Road. Evergreen Cemetery is NOT located in Bristol Center, but in Baptist Hill, a hamlet in Town of Bristol.
