LANCASTER---Funeral for Eary Tankersley Ramsey, 89, of Lancaster, who died Thursday, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. Ralph Leonard.
Burial will be in the Lancaster Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ramsey died at 6;30 p.m. Thursday at Garrard County Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A housewife, Mrs. Ramsey was the widow of C. L. Ramsey. She was born Aug. 24, 1889, in Garrard County to the late Henry and Bell Poynter Tankersley. She belonged to Lancaster United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Elmer Blakeman of Henderson and Mrs. Pete Radcliff of Ashland; one son, James H. Ramsey of Lancaster; one sister Mrs. Austin Palmer of Hamilton, Ohio; three brothers, John Tankersley of Stanford, Charles Tankersley of Hopkinsville and Nick Tankersley of Lawrenceburg; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
