Fannie Elizabeth (Beitzel) Peachey, 100, of Grantsville, and formerly of Rosedale, Ohio, died Friday, April 15, 2016, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville.
Born Sept. 21, 1915, in Accident, she was the daughter of the late Dan and Annie (Schrock) Beitzel. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Mark Peachey; one daughter, Nona (Peachey) Nisly and nine brothers, Roy, Elmer, Raymond, Lawrence, Gorman, Wilbur, (and Alvin, Melvin and Leo Beitzel who died in infancy) and one sister, Nona Beitzel.
Mrs. Peachey was a homemaker and was a longtime member of Shiloh Mennonite Church, Rosedale.
She is survived by one son, Titus Peachey and wife, Linda, Lancaster, Pa.; one daughter, Naomi Miller and husband, Freeman, Philadelphia, Pa.; one brother, Freeman Beitzel, Grantsville; seven grandchildren, Delores Groh, Keith Nisly, Janelle Tinsley, Rhonda VanWyk, Gwen Espinosa, Beth Peachey and Rachel Gonzalez Peachey and 17 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Thursday, April 21, 2016, from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the Shiloh Mennonite Church on Friday, April 22, 2016, from 5 to 7p.m.
A funeral service will be held at the Shiloh Mennonite Church, Resacca, Ohio, on Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 10 a.m.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery.
