Mark Shem Peachy was born 23 Oct 1916 at Spring, Somerset Co, Pa to Saloma Bender and Shem Peachey. He was a farmer and minister of the Mennonite Church who completed 8 years of School and one year of college at Eastern Mennonite College.
He was married December 23, 1939, to Fannie Elizabeth Beitzel at The Mennonite Church Grantsville, MD. There three children born to the union: Nona, Naomi, Titus.
Mark was a well loved and hightly respected speaker, minister and was author of "Facing Terminal Illness". He died of cancer 6 February 1979 at Louisville, Jefferson Co, Kentucky.
It is not certain where Mark was interred.
