RHODA PEACHEY MOORE
On Monday, August 17, 2015 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved mother of Norman B. Moore, CAPT, USN (Ret.) and Virgil A. Moore; grandmother of Jeannie Win-Gardner, Joan Baer, Bradley and Jeffrey Moore; sister of Laban Peachey, Urbane Peachey, Lois Yoder, Anna Shenk and Jane Lind. Memorial service will be held at the Washington Ethical Society, 7750 16th Street, NW, Washington, DC on Tuesday, August 25 at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, National Capital Region, 8559 Arlington Blvd., Fairfax, VA 22031.

RHODA P. MOORE, 93, a history and German language teacher in Prince George's County before retiring in 1988, died August 17 at a nursing home in Rockville, MD. The cause was pneumonia, said a son, Virgil Moore.
Mrs. Moore, a resident of Silver Spring, Md., was born Rhoda Peachey in Spring, Pa. For 29 years she taught in Prince George's , mostly at Eleanor Roosevelt and DuVal high schools. She was a volunter mentor to gardeners in Montgomery County.
