Lorene Hoskins age 77 of Gray, was born on September 1, 1935 at Field, Kentucky. She was a daughter of the late Floyd Edward Frazier and Frances Moreland Frazier. Mrs. Hoskins died Wednesday, November 14, 2012 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
On April 17, 1950, she united in marriage to Granville Hoskins.
Along with her parents and husband, Granville, she was preceded in death by daughter, Sherry Ann; a infant daughter, Vivian; granddaughter, Lauren Grace; infant brother, Floyd Edward Frazier Jr. and brother-in-law; Clifford Brock.
Mrs. Hoskins is survived by her children; George Michael Hoskins of Lexington; Steve Hoskins and wife Mary and Gerald Hoskins all of Barbourville; Jeannie Lee Owens and husband, David of Sadieville, Kentucky; Angela Diane Higgs and husband, David of Huston, Texas; several beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren; her sisters; Lida Brock and Hazel Napier and husband, Ralph all of Bimble and many dear nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Lorene Hoskins will be conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Richard Copley and Jimmie Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery with grandsons; Joseph Hoskins, Jason York, Gerald Kevin Hoskins, William Hoskins and Matthew Owens serving as pallbearers. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home Saturday after 6:00 pm and Sunday after 10:00 am until the funeral hour at 2:00 pm. Hopper Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
