Henderson Jude, age 69 of Debord, passed away Sunday October 23, 2016 at Community Hospice in Ashland. Born June 8, 1947 in Martin County, he was the son of the late Jack and Pearl Blackburn Jude. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Rose Delong Jude {July 3, 2016}.
Hen is survived by one son, Henderson Jude, Jr of Debord, KY; one daughter, Kim Endicott of Debord, KY; three sisters: Thelma Parsons of Pilgrim, KY, Elva Jackson of Missouri and Judy Ann Jude of Oklahoma; five brothers: T.D. Jude of Virginia, Rush Jude of River, KY, Jobe Jude of Missouri, Will Jude and Hershell Jude both of Paintsville, KY; and three grandchildren: Tyler Endicott, Amanda Jude, and Madaline Jude.
Funeral services will be 2pm Tuesday October 25, 2016 in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Delong Cemetery at Debord. Richard (Doc) Maynard and Dave Bowen will officiate. Friends may visit the Phelps & Son Funeral Home from 5pm to 9pm Monday and until the time of service on Tuesday. Arrangmenets are by the Phelps & Son Funeral Home, Inez.
