Nathan Jude, 75, of Pataskala, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at
home after a long illness. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on
Saturday, December 3, 2005 at KAUBER-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St.,
Pataskala, OH with Pastor Henry Litteral officiating. Internment to follow at
Pataskala, Cemetery, Pataskala, OH. Nathan was born on August 1, 1930 to the
late Jack and Pearl (Blackburn) Jude in Three Forks, KY. Nathan served our
country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed for 38
years at Columbus Coated Fabrics as an inspector. Nathan bought and sold tools
at flea markets for many years and was known as "The Tool Man". He was an avid
gardener in the summer and quilted in the winter. Nathan was baptized in
September of 2002 and attended the Summit Station Freewill Baptist Church.
Nathan is survived by the "Love of his Life" his wife, of 49 years, Betty
(Fields); 2 sons, Darrell (Brenda) Starr-Jude of Lexington, OH., Doug (Debbie)
Jude of Pataskala, OH; siblings Jobe (Martha) Jude of KS, TD (Joan) Jude of VA,
Elva (Joe) Jackson of MO, David Jude, Rush Jude, Thelma (Cecil) Parsons, Nelva
(Bob) Booth, Henderson (Rose) Jude, Will Jude, Herschel (Christina) Jude and
Judy Jude all of KY. 7 grandchildren; Joseph, Nathaniel, Rebecca, Aaron, and
Kimberly Jude, Laura and Christopher E'standia; 2 great grandchildren, Victoria
and Haiden; 59 nieces and nephews, along with many great nieces and nephews.
Nathan is preceded in death by 1 sister Irene and 2 brothers Lewis and John
Jude, 1 daughter-in-law Theresa (Cook) Jude. Family will receive friends at the
funeral home on Friday, December 2, 2005 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
