Harley Jene King

December 30, 1926 - March 17, 2009

Harley Jene King 82 of W. Main Street Sugarcreek, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Walnut Hills Nursing Home. He was born December 30, 1926 in Dundee to the late Budd and Tillie (Lehner) King. He is retired from the railroad where he worked for 25 years. He was also employed at Skyline, Owens-Illinois, and drove for the Amish Community in the last years. He is a member of the Alpine Bible Church.

He is survived by his wife Lucille (Gardner) King, his 4 children Josephine (Robert) Rowe of Lorain, Pam (Fred) Hartzler of Sugarcreek, Debra (Ted) Doll of Sugarcreek, Mike (Carol) King of Dundee, his sister Cora Dick of Dover, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and Megan Carrouthers who resided with him and Lucille for 10 ½ years. He is preceded by 9 brothers and sisters.

Private graveside services where held on Wednesday at Union Hill Cemetery with Pastor Byron Stewart officiating. Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at 2:00 P.M at Alpine Bible Church. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek. Memorials may be made to Alpine Bible Church 719 Dutch Valley Dr. NE Sugarcreek, Ohio 44681.
