Jaden Faith Schaefer, age 16, of Watertown, SD, passed away tragically in a car accident in the early morning of August 20, 2017. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at the Family Worship Center Foursquare Church in Watertown. Reverend Steve Ferguson will officiate.
Interment will be at the Milbank City Cemetery, Milbank, SD.
Visitation will be Tuesday, from 5 - 8 p.m., with a prayer service and a time of sharing at 7:00 p.m. at the Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel in Watertown.
Jaden was born September 29, 2000, to Jackie Schaefer. She attended Watertown High School and would have been a senior this year. She was a compassionate, spunky young lady so full of life. Jaden brightened up a room with her smile and quirky sense of humor. She always made time for her family, friends, her horses and dogs.
She is preceded in death by her great grandparents, Dale and Emma LaFollette.
Jaden is survived by her mother, Jackie (Larin Bunde) Schaefer; her grandparents, Harvey and Deanna Schaefer of Milbank, SD; her siblings, Sherri (Jason) Stormo, nephews and nieces, Chase, Taylor and Kolbi Stormo all of Lake Norden, SD, Brooke (Clint) Hamilton of Hazel, SD and Braden Schaefer of Watertown, SD; uncles, Randy (Theresa) Schaefer of Madison, SD and Rick (Shannon) Schaefer of Sioux Falls, SD; aunt, Lori (Mike) Maher of Brookings, SD; and numerous cousins.
