Singer, Songwriter and Musician. Keene released a dozen albums over the course of a career that stretched back to the late 1970s. His biggest hit came from the title track of a 1984 EP, 'Places That Are Gone'. Among the albums he released were 'Strange Alliance' (1982), 'Songs From the Film' (1986), 'Based on Happy Times' (1989), 'Driving into the Sun' (1994), 'Isolation Party' (1998), 'The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down' (2002), 'In The Late Bright' (2009), 'Excitement at Your Feet' (2013) and 'Laugh in the Dark' (2015). Over the years he collaborated with a number of artists ranging from Guided by Voices' Robert Pollard, Paul Westerberg, the Goo Goo Dolls, Velvet Crush and Matthew Sweet.
