William, or Bill as he was known, was born in the Tobey hospital in Wareham, MA where his two brothers, Gerry and Jack were also born. The first few years of his life were spent on Depot St., East Wareham living above the post office. Next, the family moved to Rockland into a new house on a pond. After a year or so, the family moved to Braintree Five Corners, then to Washington St on top of Weymouth Landing for five years. He attended Hunt School for several years. In 1960, his parents divorced and he was moved to Commercial St., Braintree. Bill didn't finish high school preferring to work when he became of age. He was a steady, dependable employee. During his life-time he held only three jobs; the last one as a town employee. Bill's life was changed forever when he met and later married, Janet Bulman, on 19 Oct 1974. His family now became the center of his universe; the rock around which all things that mattered revolved. His God and his four girls provided the North Star in his life. During his busy life, he found the time to obtain his GED high school equivalency diploma.

Bill was kind hearted and generous; quiet, but an incredible presence. He truly was a family man. He loved camping with his family, watching the Patriots and Red Sox, and he never missed his grandkids’ games or shows. He took pride in his yard lovingly attending to the smallest details.

He worked for the Hingham School Dept. for 27 years. He was a member of the Holy Nativity Church in South Weymouth. When his youngest daughter Beth was killed in a car accident in 2003, he received a fatal heart wound that was only cured today when they were reunited in the Kingdom of God. Rest in peace brother. We will miss you dearly. His cremains were buried next to Beth. A heart felt thank you to my niece Jill who did herculean services taking care of both her parents, visitors, and her own family during this sad time.

He is survived by his wife Janet, two daughters, three grandchildren and a brother and sister.
