Dorothy A. (Lawton) Hutton, age 72, of Quincy, died suddenly, Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the Quincy Medical Center. She was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Quincy schools and was a lifelong Quincy resident. Mrs. Hutton was employed as a coil winder at the former Sigma Instrument Company for many years. She was also a devoted homemaker. Beloved wife of the late Alexander A. Sandy Hutton. Devoted mother of William J. Hutton of Brighton. Sister of Patricia J. Doyle of Quincy, Gerard Lawton of NC, William Lawton of Abington, the late Lorraine Breen-Salvatore, and the late Jack Lawton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Friday, April 2nd at 9:15 a.m. Funeral in Saint Josephs Church, 550 Washington Street, Quincy at 10 oclock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours Thursday 4 - 7 p.m. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery, West Quincy.
