Thanks to all who leave an Angel Day flower, 11 February, for Cooper 1.

Same Angel Day for:

Pumpkin (female cat)

Smokie (female dog)

Sweetie (male dog).

Gary Cooper I, a female cat, died from smoke in a fire at my mobile home on 11 February 2005, while I was at the laundromat.

Coop I was part of a family of homeless cats who were living underneath a mobile home, and after their "human family" moved away and abandoned them, I left them food and water every day but the man who lived in an RV next to the mobile home apparently objected to my attempt at taking care of them. Coop I was the only one I was able to rescue. The rest of them disappeared. I called an animal clinic nearby where I took my animals to find out what happened to them, but the owner was extremely rude and wouldn't tell me anything.

Most likely the man who occupied the RV called the animal clinic about the cats.

Someone kept moving the food and water dishes I left for the cats, but I always found them. The cats weren't bothering anyone, he probably just didn't like cats.

Although Coop I was female, I named her in honor of my favorite actor, the legendary Gary Cooper.
